Why train with My Vinyasa Practice?
My Vinyasa Practice is the most authentic, accessible, and affordable yoga teacher training available today. Whether you choose to train online or in person in Austin, TX, MVP offers a flexible and supportive learning environment.
We provide qualitative, weekly live training sessions and personalized support seven days a week via chat, email, and call-back, as well as free one-on-one sessions with our support staff.
MVP offers a variety of synchronous learning opportunities across multiple timezones, including Weekly Office Hours, Weekend lectures, 1:1 Meetings with Lead Trainers and Peer Support, Support & Mentorship Sessions with Peer Support, Practice Teaching, Facilitated Learning Tracks, the MVP Wellness App, and other events. (Students are not required to join any specific live offering.)
With access to thousands of hours of live lecture recordings, pre-recorded lectures, and downloadable resources, MVP students have everything they need to deepen their practice and become skilled teachers.

What You'll Learn
Intensive Anatomy and Kinesthetics
- Deep dive into muscle movements and how to work towards specific advanced postures.
- Learn to apply kinesthetic principles to your practice and teaching, focusing on arm balances, inversions, and other challenging postures.
Philosophy and Ayurveda
- Gain a basic understanding of yoga philosophy and an overview of Ayurveda.
- While this course covers these topics, the focus is more on practical application in a Power Flow setting.
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Sequencing
- Master the art of sequencing HIIT blocks to achieve specific goals like weight maintenance, muscle building, and increased flexibility.
- Learn to create sequences that incorporate static holds for recovery and understand how to adapt these for various student needs.
Coaching and Teaching Techniques
- Extensive training on how to coach in both group settings and one-on-one sessions.
- Includes techniques for assessing clients and creating strategic sequences to meet their goals.
- Adaptations for special populations, such as those in menopause or those needing bone-strengthening exercises.
Teaching in Hot Environments

What’s Not Included
- Restorative or Yin Yoga: This course does not cover restorative or yin practices.
- In-Depth Psychological Practices: While there is an overview of yoga philosophy, the emphasis on psychological practices is minimal.
Certification and Beyond
Upon completion of this course, you'll be equipped with the skills to teach Power Flow Yoga confidently and effectively. You'll also have a solid foundation in coaching, sequencing, and teaching in various environments, preparing you for a wide range of teaching opportunities.
Live Sessions
This course will be facilitated live from October 2nd to December 18th, 2024, from 4 PM to 6 PM CT. After the live facilitation, recordings will be available on the online school platform.
Yoga Alliance Accreditation
My Vinyasa Practice is an international yoga school. We hold accreditation with Yoga Alliance (YogaAlliance.org) as a 200-hour and 300-hour Registered Yoga School, as well as a Registered Prenatal and Children's Yoga School.
