Why train with My Vinyasa Practice?
My Vinyasa Practice is the most authentic, accessible, and affordable yoga teacher training available today. Whether you choose to train online or in person in Austin, TX, MVP offers a flexible and supportive learning environment.
We provide qualitative, weekly live training sessions and personalized support seven days a week via chat, email, and call-back, as well as free one-to-one sessions with our support staff.
MVP offers a variety of synchronous learning opportunities across multiple time zones, including Weekly Office Hours, Weekend lectures, 1:1 Meetings with Lead Trainers and Peer Support, Support & Mentorship Sessions with Peer Support, Practice Teaching, Facilitated Learning Tracks, the MVP Wellness App, and other events. (Students are not required to join any specific live offering.)
With access to thousands of hours of live lecture recordings, pre-recorded lectures, and downloadable resources, MVP students have everything they need to deepen their practice and become skilled teachers.

Assessments
As part of the 95-hour Children’s Yoga Certification, you’ll complete and submit assignments to demonstrate your understanding of teaching techniques and your experience in the course.
- Class Submissions: You are required to submit five unique sequences, each designed for a different age group. Ensure each sequence lasts at least 15 minutes and is tailored to the developmental stage of the age group it serves.
- Reflection Essay: As part of the assessments for the Children's Yoga Training, you will complete a final reflection essay. This is an opportunity to share what you have learned, how your teaching style has evolved, and how you plan to apply this training in future classes.
- Multiple Choice Exam: An open-notes, untimed multiple-choice exam designed to reinforce your understanding of key concepts. You can refer to your notes throughout the exam, allowing you to apply your knowledge confidently and at your own pace. This format supports deeper learning and retention of course material.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
This course provides a certification rather than Continuing Education Units (CEUs). After completing this course, you’ll be eligible to upgrade your current Yoga Alliance designation to include Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT). However, please note that this course alone does not enable you to register with Yoga Alliance.

Is there a deadline to complete this course?
This self-paced, fully remote course allows you to register anytime and work at your own pace. There is no deadline to complete your training.
How long does it take to complete the course?
Although there is no strict deadline to finish this self-paced course, we can provide you with an estimated timeframe for completion:
Most students spend around one week per section to fully comprehend the materials. If this pace aligns with your learning style, you may complete the course in approximately 8-10 weeks.
However, you can take as long as you'd like for each section. If you want to dive deeper into or move through sections faster, you have the flexibility to adjust the course to your learning needs.
