My Vinyasa Practice offers a fully online, trauma-informed, and inclusive program to prepare you to teach yoga to children and teens of all ages and abilities.

Assessments
To complete your certification and become eligible for RCYT status, you'll complete:

Class Submissions: Create five 15-minute sequences tailored to different age groups

Reflection Essay: Reflect on what you’ve learned and how you plan to apply it

Final Exam: An open-notes, self-paced multiple-choice exam to reinforce your learning
Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
This course provides a certification rather than Continuing Education Units (CEUs). After completing this course, you’ll be eligible to upgrade your current Yoga Alliance designation to include Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT). However, please note that this course alone does not enable you to register with Yoga Alliance.

Is there a deadline to complete the course?
No. The course is 100% self-paced and available for life.
How long does it take to complete?
Most students finish in 8–10 weeks when completing 1–2 modules per week, but you're welcome to move faster or slower.

Yoga Alliance Accreditations
My Vinyasa Practice is a Registered Children’s Yoga School (RCYS) with Yoga Alliance. After completing this course and your 200-hour certification, you’ll be eligible to upgrade your Yoga Alliance registration to Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT).
